I approved XD
They donated millions of dollars for the victims of Typhoon Pablo. After the great Japan earthquake, our country also donated support even if they really didn't need that any help, being a superpower and all XD But I guess it's the thought that matters though.
And now with this conflict with China, Japan is siding with us and aiding with our military modernization. Call it politically motivated or what but any help from Asian neighbour would be fine
I'm really interested on exploring the relationships of these two countries in modern-day setting, after having gone through a bad relationship with each other in the past ^^
I applaud to you, my friend. More People should realize this and understand that Japan and Philippines are cool with each other rather than having to portray them fighting.
Seriously though, I wish if ever Himaruya is set to create the official design of Piri-tan, her relationship with Japan should be tackled. Maybe a comic portrayal of how Piri is acting all rebellious during his occupation and Japan is constantly being troubled by her stubbornness, or something like that XD
I know there's plenty of reasons for southeast asian nations to hate Japan during WW2 but now, Asian neighbors should work together for the good of each country. We can't move forward while being tied to the past. Besides, even the present-day Japanese were ashamed of what their ancestors have done. They were the ones who's rallying to their government to compensate the war victims from other countries ^_^
Gahd I feel like Japan got familyzoned by Philippines the feels.... But it's still beautiful!!!
I actually preferred them to be those brother-sister type of relationships.
